I was missing emails, important information, deadlines - material critical to the way in which I did my job and managed my team.
MY STORY
Carson Tate is down-to-Earth and authentic; she’s good at what she does, and she’s fun to work with. Her solutions – powerful, practical, and possible.

Before I started working with Carson, I felt a lot of anxiety – I was missing emails, important information, deadlines – material critical to the way in which I did my job and managed my team.

Together, we carved out baby steps that were part of a larger solution, or transformation, in my productivity. Baby steps like utilizing an email’s subject line properly and creating an email filing system that made sense for not only me, but also my assistant. Carson even spent time with my assistant teaching her how to use the new system in order to support me and my role.

Since working with Carson, the greatest effect I’ve felt personally is less stress, less anxiety. The calm that comes from knowing the important information is there and organized – and my assistant and I both know how to access it – is priceless. An equally important result has been my ability to reclaim control over my time and my productivity.

Carson is good at pushing you outside your comfort zone – but never farther than you can go or want to handle. When you allow her to create a solution for you, what becomes even more possible is a new peace and calm that will transform your life.

In our business, we work fast and are juggling many priorities – and we needed someone who understood that.
MY STORY
While planning the global webcast for Wells Fargo Wholesale Women’s Network, we were searching for a presenter who would engage a webcast audience pulling from all over the world, deliver a message that resonated immediately, and provide us with tangible and real information as well as clear, action steps. In our business, we work fast and are juggling many priorities – and we needed someone who understood that. Carson Tate was our perfect fit. Her presentation was engaging; her stories were relevant; her energy was infectious. Because she understood the corporate culture and lifestyle, she designed her content so that it struck a chord with a lot of different people in the Wells Fargo organization – from junior analysts to senior executives. (That’s hard to do.) She provided not only good, strategic productivity tips to help manage our respective lives, but also the action steps to take on our own productivity to create new value at work.

From there, she asks the right questions to get to an outcome-based solution quickly. As a result, our teams are using their productivity tools with a stronger impact.
MY STORY
I met Carson about six or seven years ago. I was impressed with her immediately – she grabs your attention; she brings topics to life. I not only enjoyed her spark and ability to connect, but also her broad range of productivity strategies that I knew she could bring to the Belk community. Having working with her in two different contexts at Belk – The Leadership Program for High Potential Employees and Human Resources’ Development Days programming – I’ve experienced her strong, consistent approach that’s anchored in her natural ability to listen to our struggles – and also hear what we’re not saying.

From there, she asks the right questions to get to an outcome-based solution quickly. As a result, our teams are using their productivity tools with a stronger impact. Personally, I am using Microsoft Outlook more efficiently and utilizing Carson’s strategies to be more disciplined in my productivity routine, turn off email notifications, and write new rules that allows me to focus more on my impact. Carson understands the context of our environment, our culture, and our people. So much so, that she stays in touch with me and continually offers to us fresh ways to stay efficient.

With Carson, I have a deep, valuable knowledge set, but, more importantly, a partner in my success.

My work with Carson and the strategies she taught me transformed the way I think about my time – not only how I allocate it, but also how I get clear on what I do.
MY STORY
I met Carson Tate at a board retreat for Leadership Charlotte. She conducted a session on time management, more specifically (and more importantly) – making the best use of the time that we have. This session had a powerful impact on me; so much so that I wanted to continue having conversations with her regarding how I could be more effective in the use of my time.

My work with Carson and the strategies she taught me transformed the way I think about my time – not only how I allocate it, but also how I get clear on what I do, how I seek significance, and how my time management impacts both.

I am grateful to Carson for becoming, unbeknownst to either of us, my professional and life spirit guide.

Carson’s strategies served as wonderful reminders to me that there is a more efficient way to do things that works for me personally.
MY STORY
My experience with Carson Tate is two-fold: I had the unique opportunity to learn from Carson personally and to watch her present at Queens University’s Employment Development Day. I can attest to the fact that, in both situations, she was not only the right person who offered helpful solutions answers that I needed for my own productivity questions, and but also she’s someone who shared those answers, strategies, and her vast and practical knowledge in a down-to-Earth, approachable, very human way. Her presentation, Work Smarter Not Harder, received rave reviews from employees. We heard that her approach served valuable takeaways, and that she personally was an engaging and effective speaker with great energy. More than one employee noted that her “Work Smarter Not Harder” was their favorite session of the day. I understand and appreciate that feedback completely. Carson’s strategies served as wonderful reminders to me that there is a more efficient way to do things that works for me personally.

Carson took inventory of all of my tasks, and she gave me the tools and methods to streamline the important ones, delegate others, and simply eliminate.
MY STORY
Before I started working with Carson, I was overwhelmed in both my personal and work life. Despite working late nights and weekends, I was behind on projects; deliverables were falling through the cracks. Carson took inventory of all of my tasks, and she gave me the tools and methods to streamline the important ones, delegate others, and simply eliminate some that were not impactful to my organization. She helped me to realize what my firm needed from me, and with that knowledge, I was able to focus my work on what matters most. It has been a game-changer. I am achieving more without the late nights and weekend work. Carson helped me understand that efficiency and focus, not hours, are the keys to accomplishing more.

Carson’s strategies helped me to focus on what was most important and to see around corners, anticipate and prepare for what was coming.
MY STORY
I first started working with Carson at a pivotal point in my career – literally, my first day in a new role. I had just been promoted to Chief of Staff, so it was a transitional time for not only me, but also my boss, our CEO. Early in our time together, Carson’s strategies helped me to focus on what was most important and to see around corners, anticipate and prepare for what was coming. She taught me to do the biggest things first and fast. She helped me realize how much I needed my personal, organizational systems and priorities working flawlessly through this transition – and that’s been the key strategies from her that’s been paying dividends in not only the day-to-day of my role, but also how I feel and know that I’m making a significant impact. Carson met with me on my own turf, but pushed me in a way that made me appreciate all that this process was capable of creating for me.
